Veteran John Edwards joins LV= board

Mutual insurer LV= beefed up its board today with the appointment of John Edwards as a non-executive director.
He has more than 30 years' experience in the financial services sector, including posts at HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group.
Mike Rogers, LV= group chief executive, said: "John will provide us with advice and expertise that will help LV= to continue to grow profitably and provide value for members."
