Burning rubber

Biker Boyz

Two wheels instead of four; otherwise the burnt rubber is the same as in Fast and Furious - with an Oedipal twist just up the road between King of the Road Lawrence Fishbourne and Derer (Antwone Fisher) Luke, his young challenger.

The dialogue is almost as loud as the exhausts; and the bits of detail (metal overshoes that the riders scrape along the road in a comet-streak of sparks, and the thonged girls who appear at the Fresno rally just to wash the lads' bikes) aren't enough in a movie that teens may find delivers an unpalatable message - daddy knows best.
