In-jokes: Johnny Vegas stars in Danish film, Terkel In Trouble

A Danish animated feature, very popular in its home territory, which has a bullied schoolboy, Terkel, trying to live with an unsympathetic family and abusive schoolmates.
Though the animation is hardly state of the art, the tone is sharper than Hollywood would allow and sometimes cruelly ironic.
A British cast, led by Johnny Vegas as Terkel's alcoholic uncle, dub it into English with some panache but are defeated by the obviously Danish in-jokes.
