When is FNCS 2024? Epic Games reveals Fortnite championship schedule for this year

The Fortnite Championship Series is open to players with $7million up for grabs

How to describe The Fortnite Championship Series… it's a bit like the Hunger Games, although it does not take place in a dystopian state and thousands of people willingly take part.

For the unaffiliated, Fortnite is a video game that sees up to 100 players fight against each other to be the last person standing.

It was first launched in 2017 and quickly became a huge hit, with 125 million people playing worldwide in less than a year. Further games have followed, with Epic Games redesigning the model last year to create Fortnite Experiences

The game has provided players with unforgettable and controversial moments over the years. There has even been an unlikely cameo from Eminem.

Most players can have a blast playing with their friends and wouldn’t be (mentally) broken by being the first player to be killed.

But for others, this is much more than a hobby - and that is where the FNCS comes in.
