Queens of the Stone Age

Nov 18, SSE Arena, Wembley (0844 815 0815, ssearena.co.uk); Nov 21, O2 Arena, SE10 (0844 824 4824, the02.co.uk)

The US rockers’ recent seventh album was made in surprising collaboration with Mark Ronson. It has been popular enough to become their first UK number one and earn them two London arena shows.

Bananarama

Nov 19, Eventim Apollo, W6 (0844 249 1000, eventimapollo.com)

Almost 30 years since their last big hit, this is remarkably the first ever opportunity to see all three of the once huge pop trio’s original line-up – Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward – live in concert together.

Royal Blood

Nov 20-22, Alexandra Palace, N22 (0870 444 5556, alexandrapalace.com)

This rock duo have somehow made it worth watching a band that features just a bassist and a drummer. Three nights here prove that after the release of their second album they’re still a major draw.

Future Islands

Nov 20-22, O2 Academy Brixton, SW9 (0844 477 2000, o2academybrixton.co.uk)

Four albums and hundreds of gigs into a long career as indie electronic underdogs, this Baltimore trio are finally, deservedly, a huge live attraction.

Rag ‘N’ Bone Man

Nov 23-25, O2 Academy Brixton, SW9 (0844 477 2000, o2academybrixton.co.uk)

The second act to book a trio of Brixton shows next week, Rory Graham’s booming tones have made him one of the UK’s biggest new stars.
