God in the details: Anna Hope and Tony Devlin perform with skill and wit

Now here's the kind of thing the Fringe was made for. It's not perfect - in fact, it's overlong and rather up itself.

And yet there's something refreshingly exploratory in Falk Richter's two-hander about a young couple who turn their life into art.

He's a DJ; she's a VJ. Together they make videos of their own life - self-dramatising to the cameras for hundreds of quid a pop; self-justifying to us, the paying punters, for two grand a night. With decks and screens in their mock-up bedroom, they live in 'an authentasy'. He talks fluently about Death Valley, Goldie and life as text. He can talk fluently about anything - except their unborn child...

It's not always clear whether Richter is satirising or celebrating such performance art. That's part of the appeal of Hanna Berrigan and Diana Bohmer's lively, unpolemical production.

Best of all, it's played with skill and wit. Anna Hope doesn't quite have the self-adoration of someone who could spout forth for five straight hours on TV, but Tony Devlin has an opinionated ease about him that makes this fanciful venture seem plausible. Which isn't to say these two hours entirely escape pretension. But this glimpse of youth caught in a hall of mirrors is striking and memorable all the same.
