Big Brother made an explosive return to Channel 5 for what is promised to be a ‘game-changing’ series.

The long-running reality show has shaken things up by adding a second house for The Others – who not only will be tormenting the regular housemates, but also trying to take their place.

Twelve main housemates were introduced in the launch show – and while this is the ‘civilian’ series, they’re not all total unknowns this year.

There’s Alex Cannon, who’s the co-star of MTV’s Judge Geordie with Vicky Pattison, former BBC journalist Andy West, who hit the headlines last year, and Marco Pierre White Jr, son of the famous chef.

Then there’s Jason Burrill, who’s appeared in Spectre and Guardians of the Galaxy as Dave Bautista’s body double, and more models than you can shake a stick at.

The twelve housemates are unaware of The Others next door, who will be trying to nab a spot in the main house.

Among The Others are former X Factor contestant Ryan Ruckledge, who got on the wrong side of Simon Cowell at Boot Camp last year, and four-time World Kickboxing Champion Andrew Tate. He’s not one to cross, then.

The stage has been set for what could be the juiciest series ever – especially as some of the housemates and The Others know each other from the outside world.

Let the games begin.
