After returning to screens last year, ITV2’s reality series Love Island is about to make a return for 2016.

The show, which sees a bunch of buff singletons left to find romance on a desert island while cameras track their every move, will once again be presented by Caroline Flack.

Things get pretty intense under the baking sun, as the contestants couple up – or pretend to – in order to try and stay in the game.

While some couples shack up together as their relationships start to become real, the remaining single contestants have to meddle and get themselves into a fling of their own to be in with a shot of winning the £50,000 prize money.

Talking about last year's various hook-ups, it turns out Caroline Flack finds it as awkward as the rest of us when it comes to contestants having sex on the show.

Asked if any of the last series made her cringe, Flack said: “Oh my God, yes, the sex! I had to have my fingers in my ears for certain parts.

“I could watch it no problem, but I preferred watching it to listening to it. I don't like hearing those noises!”
