It wasn’t the cooking that was heating up the kitchen, but the budding relationship between Selasi Gbormittah and Benjamina Ebuehi on The Great British Bake Off.
Viewers couldn’t handle the “outrageous” flirting between the baking enthusiasts as they attempted to impress Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood with their roulades.
Selasi turned to Benjamina for a second opinion on his lemon curd and fed her a spoonful of the mixture.
After she gave it the thumbs up he turned to the camera and smiled.
Viewers couldn't help but notice the pair eyeing each other up and voiced their hopes for a Bake Off romance.
One user said the flirting was "outrageous" while others called for the pair to team up for the first ever Bake Off marriage.
Another user went as far as calling for the amateur bakers to star in their own TV show while others said the thought of one being axed from the show was unbreable.
One fan wrote: "I need to just ask the question. What is going on with Selasi and Benjamina though?! So much flirting!!!!"
It comes a week after the pair raised suspicions after they appeared to flirt over a grapefruit meringue.
But unfortunately for fans hoping the pair would get together, Selasi previously revealed that he has a girlfriend.
This week saw Tom Gillford kicked out of the competition after he failed to impress with his 'hipster picnic' showstopper.
Tom - who entertained viewers with his unusual combinations - said he felt it was his time to go.
“Right to the moment your name's called you think maybe it’s some else but I knew it was going to be my name," he said. "I would have loved to be in the tent right through to the end but someone has to go each week.
"There was nobody else it could have been."
Great British Bake Off is on BBC One at 8pm on Wednesday.
