Everyone knows that Paul O’Grady has a soft spot for our four-legged friends, and now he’s travelling the world help those in need.

Following the success of his For the Love of Dogs series, the TV presenter is broadening his horizons and shining a spotlight on animal cruelty on a global scale.

Here’s what you need to know:

What’s it about?

This ITV two-parter sees O’Grady travel to India to help rehabilitate some of the country’s most vulnerable animals, including elephants and rhinos.

Despite admitting that he’s avoided India in the past, O’Grady dubs it ‘the most remarkable place’ he’s ever been to in the opening episode.

Instead of reporting from the sidelines, the TV star gets stuck in by mirroring animal keepers and conservationists.
