Susan Calman has been announced as the ninth celebrity joining this year’s Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
The news was announced during Jeremy Vine’s Radio 2 show on Tuesday afternoon.
Calman described appearing on Strictly as ‘a dream come true’.
“Finally I can reveal all the moves I’ve been practising in my kitchen to the nation. I am an enthusiastic home dancer and now on Saturday nights I’ll be dancing in other people’s homes in a hopefully entertaining way. I am terrified but excited to start my Strictly journey," she said.

The Scottish stand-up comedian is known for appearances on Radio 4 show The News Quiz and BBC One’s Have I Got News for You.
Calman is the latest celebrity set to compete for the coveted Glitterball trophy in the 2017 edition of the ballroom dancing show, with more names to be announced in the coming weeks.
The other stars confirmed for the upcoming series are Aston Merrygold, Joe McFadden, Simon Rimmer, Reverend Richard Coles, Gemma Atkinson, Ruth Langsford, Davood Ghadami and Mollie King.
This year’s show will be Shirley Ballas’ debut as head judge, replacing Len Goodman on the panel alongside Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli.
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are to return as hosts, with Zoe Ball fronting sister show It Takes Two.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One this autumn.
