Let’s face it, London isn’t a city that enjoys glorious sunshine and baking heat all summer long. As we all know, it’s far less predictable than that.

But when the sun does come out to play, nowhere can compete with the capital for its array of beautiful parks, alfresco dining destinations, outdoor swimming pools, rooftop bars, historic markets, world-class open-air theatre and sensational street food scene.

And surely the fact that it’s not guaranteed just makes the hot weather all the more special, right?

Browse the gallery above to see the array of outdoor activities and super summer spots that London has to offer, along with full details of where to go and when.
