Taste assessment: In an office without a kitchen, it’s a rare treat to be able to get use of the microwave during the lunchtime rush. But because we were doing an al desko tasting and because we were interested in the back story, in this went. The ready meals tried were created by 26-year-old mum Kirsty Henshaw whose son is intolerant to various foods. Indeed, I checked the label – there are no additives at all and no dairy, wheat or gluten. Yet it was delicious. A hearty helping of vegetables was sitting under soft, thick sweet potato mash. The sauce was also thick, rich and plentiful. It all cooked in four minutes. Next time: chicken tikka masala with brown rice.
