You can now buy halloumi fries from Aldi

Aldi is the first supermarket in the UK to launch this in-demand product

When I moved to London almost two years ago, one of my first stops was Camden Market. Why? I wasn't there for the small slices of iconic history found on every corner. No, I was there to try Oli Baba's original halloumi fries.

And, yes, they were absolutely delicious.

Halloumi fries have become a staple in many restaurant menus across Britain - and now you can buy these delicious cheesy treats from a UK supermarket.

Aldi have launched their very own version of halloumi fries which you can buy in bags from the freezer section.

The Golden & Crispy Specially Selected Halloumi Fries are also a crazy bargain at just £1.99 a bag.

What's more is the fries are 'crispy and lightly seasoned'.

But don't rush out and buy 10 bags yet - the fries won't officially be available in Aldi until May 19.

May 19 is also the day of the royal wedding , so if you're having a viewing party you can dupe your friends into thinking you made halloumi fries yourself.
