A hot cross bun burger is coming to London

Prepare yourselves for an Easter feast with a difference

There’s a hot new limited edition burger coming to the capital, and it might just be worth crossing town for.

Gastropub group ETM is behind the interesting Easter-themed treat — a Hot Cross Bunny Burger.

It consists of a rabbit meat patty topped with smoked bacon, mushroom and Lincolnshire rarebit, all sandwiched within a toasted hot cross bun.

It's enough to give the scotch egg burgers a run for their money...

It will come with chips, a carrot-mustard slaw and a bottle of the pub company’s own Long Arm Brewing Co beer for £12.50, and will be available at all ETM’s pubs, including The Well in Clerkenwell, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms in the City, The Gun in the Docklands and The Botanist at both Sloane Square and Broadgate Circle.

However, it will only be on sale from March 25 to April 1, which means that you’ve got a bit of wait on your hands and then just a week to try one.

You can satisfy yourself with one of London’s more classic top 10 burgers in the meantime.
