Michelin-starred seafood restaurant Angler has booked four of London’s top chefs for a charity supper coming later this summer.

After champagne on the seventh floor outdoor terrace, which has views out over the city, diners at the South Place Hotel restaurant will be treated to a meal courtesy of Perilla’s Ben Marks, who is cooking up canapés, starters from Lee Wescott from the Typing Room and mains from Phil Howard, known for Elystan Street and his two Michelin star reign at The Square. Angler’s executive head chef Gary Foulkes will whip up a pudding. Each course will be a one-off.

Foulkes said: “I’m really looking forward to cooking with some of contemporary London’s most highly regarded and well-respected chefs. All of us have slightly different cooking styles, but all of us cook food that delivers huge flavour and immense pleasure – what good food should be about.”

Profits from the evening will go to Hospitality Action, a charity which works to support those in the hospitality industry in difficulty.

The meal will take place on August 7. Tickets, priced at £80, go on sale mid-July at designmynight.com.
