Robin Gill opens up chef-only supperclub to public

The Bloodshot Supper Club is opening up for one night only

Acclaimed chef Robin Gill is hosting one of his Bloodshot Supper Clubs as part of London Food Month.

Gill, who is behind seasonal British restaurants The Dairy, The Manor and Counter Culture — all in Clapham — plus Paradise Garage in Bethnal Green, will be hosting his raucous, all-night event on Saturday at The Dairy.

Gill came up with the concept with Nuno Mendes — head chef at celebrity favourite Chiltern Firehouse and Taberna do Mercado in Spitalfields — both of whom struggled to find anywhere to go to eat and drink once they’d finished in the kitchen.

They launched the Bloodshoot Supper Club exclusively for restaurant and food industry employees. Now for London Food Month, the club is opening for a public-only session.

Kicking off just before midnight, the event will have food cooked by chefs at The Dairy plus Calum Franklin from Holborn Dining Rooms and Patrick Powell, formerly of Chiltern Firehouse. Cocktails will be made by Irish whiskey distillery Roe & Co, with DJ Chewy taking over the DJ decks. Gill said: “They are a lot of fun and quite raucous.”

Tickets are £75 and include cocktails and a four-course menu served with wine, beers and more cocktails.
