From now until 28 February, this large and glossy restaurant offers a series of special New Year menus. These are designed for sharing by a table of 10 and are priced accordingly — £338 and £498 plus service charge. You'll get to try some less familiar dishes such as "braised fish maw with goose web in oyster sauce" or "barbecued crispy Canton squab".

Min Jiang will be offering a number of special dishes until 28 February including the theatrical and traditional "yu sheng" salad. Diners shout "Lo hei!" and the higher the salad is tossed, the greater the good fortune you can expect in the coming year.

New Year celebrations run tomorrow to 28 February and you can welcome the Year of the Tiger by tucking into sautéed pig tongue with shrimp sauce in clay pot (£12.80); a whole braised chicken in abalone sauce (£32); or golden fish fillet rolls with creamy salted egg yolk (£28).
