Bombers leave 23 dead in Pakistan

12 April 2012

TWO suicide bombers attacked the house of a senior military officer in the Pakistan city of Quetta today, killing his wife and 22 others.

Police were investigating whether the strike was in revenge for the recent arrests in Quetta of three leading al Qaeda suspects, an operation assisted by the CIA.
