Cheap Trick fans hurt as stage falls

A collapsing stage injured five people -one seriously - as rock band Cheap Trick played one of Canada's largest music festivals yesterday.

Fans ran for cover at Ottawa Bluesfest as rigging several storeys high buckled and fell during a storm, leaving shards of metal jutting from the stage.

No members of Cheap Trick were hurt.
