Chevron sues for £64m taxes

OIL major ChevronTexaco is suing the US government for more than $118m (£64.5m) it says it is owed in back taxes related to settlements dating from the late 1980s.

It claims federal income taxes were 'erroneously and illegally assessed and collected', along with interest.
