Eubank is released on bail

Former boxer Chris Eubank has been released on police bail after being arrested during a one-man protest outside Downing Street over Iraq.

Onlookers said Eubank, 37, was first detained after his lorry, carrying the slogan "Tony Blair, military occupation causes terrorism", collided with a small van outside the gates of Downing Street yesterday.

He was later re-arrested at a central London police station where he was found to be carrying what police described as a "bladed instrument".
