Falconio suspect faces court

13 April 2012

The man accused of killing British traveller Peter Falconio will face an Australian court tomorrow charged with the Outback murder.

Mechanic Bradley John Murdoch, 45, was ordered to be extradited from South Australia to Darwin.

He was re-arrested minutes after being acquitted on Monday of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Police claim they have DNA evidence implicating Murdoch in the shooting of Mr Falconio, 28, from Huddersfield, on the Stuart Highway in July 2001.
