Film walks to focus on movie locations

Evening Standard13 April 2012

A series of London walks will give film buffs the chance to visit locations of movies including The Duchess and 28 Days Later.

Coinciding with the London Film Festival, free guided walks will be held next month taking in Fourier Street in the East End, used in 28 Days Later and the Crying Game, and Greenwich Naval College, featured in The Golden Compass, Patriot Games and The Duchess.

Organised by The Ramblers Association and led by the Metropolitan Walkers and South Bank Group Ramblers, they are three to eight miles long.

Organiser Eleanor Harris said: "These 'films on foot' are a fantastic way to discover a different side to the city."
