Four live in shop window

George Wright12 April 2012

Four people begin living together in a Harrods' shop window today after being picked from hundreds of applicants to create an "internet family" promoting technology in the home.

The family - mother Sarah Wooster, father Carl Newman, son Steve Wilson and daughter Charlie Parker - will be told what to eat, wear and do throughout the day by people voting on a website.

The family will be visited each day at the Knightsbridge store by celebrities, including members of Riverdance and singer Kim Wilde. They will be seen by thousands of shoppers but will sleep in a hotel.
