Galloway slams Labour 'show trial'

Labour rebel George Galloway said today he had nothing to apologise for as he arrived for a disciplinary hearing over his criticism of the war in Iraq.

The Glasgow Kelvin MP could be expelled from the party. He was appearing before Labour's National Constitutional Committee to face five charges, including inciting British soldiers to disobey orders to fight.

Mr Galloway said: "This is a political show trial."
