Family fun: cycling and a picnic
BIKE WEEK: PEDALLING PICNIC

Get the family on their bikes and pedal off to Greenwich Park to mark the end of Bike Week.

Starting from Mile End, it's a leisurely cycle to Greenwich Park (arrive about 11.30am at the General Woolfe statue). Cyclists from the south can join at Greenwich Park. Then everyone heads back to Victoria Park to enjoy a huge picnic at 1pm (don't forget to bring yours!).

Some of the roads are busy so children do need to be confident riders with
helmets. There'll be lots of stops along the way, where you can hear a little about the history of the East End.

Mile End Park E3 (020-7515 9905). Sun 22 Jun, 10.30am, children must be accompanied, free. All ages
