IPCC to lead police death crash inquiry

An investigation into a two-vehicle crash involving an unmarked Met police car, which claimed the life of a woman driver, is to be managed by the Independent Police Complaints Commission.

The 29-year-old woman, who has not been named, was declared dead at the scene on the A21 near Tunbridge Wells at about 12.30pm on Tuesday. It is believed the police Skoda had its sirens on.
