Larry King is ending his nightly talk show this autumn after 25 years.

The 76-year-old father of five said he had decided to call time on Larry King Live so that he and his wife, Shawn Southwick, could "get to the kids' little league games". The couple both filed for divorce this year but were reconciled.

There is speculation that Piers Morgan could be in the running to take over the slot. King will still host special shows on CNN.
