Lok'n Store unlocks a loss

START-UP losses arising from the opening of four new sites at the end of the last financial year and a new one in Ashford, Kent, this year pushed self-storage specialist Lok'n Store Group £445,079 into the red for the six months to end-January.

In the same period last year the group made a pre-tax profit of £127,457.

Turnover increased by 24% to £2.37m from £1.91m in the half year and annualised revenues are now running at £5.1m, the group said.
