New Zealand man leaves baby in car outside strip club

A New Zealand man who left his 18-month-old son in a car while he visited a strip club has been fined £92.

At a Wellington court, Wayne Schwamm admitted leaving the toddler alone at 3am. The child, who has a heart condition, was locked in for 40 minutes before police arrived.

Schwamm said he went to the Mermaid club to pick up a friend who worked there.
