Ozzy is 'back on the bottle'

Reality TV star Ozzy Osbourne is back on the bottle, according to his ailing wife Sharon.

In an interview for US television tomorrow, she says the pressures of dealing with her cancer have pushed the heavy metal star off the wagon.

Former Black Sabbath front man Ozzy, 53, claimed he gave up hard drinking in the early Nineties after realising it was destroying his life.

He said in 1997: "I haven't touched a drink or used drugs in over five years."

But his wife now admits "Ozzy's been hitting the bottle again."

Once best known for biting the head off a bat on stage, Birminghamborn Osbourne and his family found new fame with their TV series shot at their Los Angeles home.

After signing a contract for a second series, said to be worth £10 million earlier this year, the family was devastated to learn that Sharon, who is also Osbourne's manager, is suffering colon cancer.
