Radio DJ axed for Carla Bruni pig slur

One of France's best-known radio presenters has been axed after likening Carla Bruni to a pig.
Europe 1 DJ Christophe Beauregard made the remark on his chat show Le Grand Direct 10 days ago.
His show has been canned, with a spokesman for the station saying: "He has gone too far, his observations did not fit in well."
