Residents object to special needs school

Residents say a school for special educational needs moving to Kilburn will bring extra traffic and not fit in with the area's Victorian architecture.

The Swiss Cottage Special Educational Needs school is to relocate to The Avenue in Brondesbury for two years, during building work at its current site in Hampstead.

Jon Wozencroft, an art teacher who lives near the new site, said: "Our suspicion is that in two years when the school moves out the precedent will be set for large buildings on this site and a developer will build permanently."
