Soccer star's sex disgrace

Stan Collymore today admitted his shame after being exposed for having sex with strangers in public.

The football pundit and ex-player admitted being obsessed with the seedy practice known as dogging.

Today, in an astonishing confession, Collymore, 33, revealed he had driven to several sites near his home where people watch each other having sex in their cars.

The former England, Liverpool and Aston Villa player admitted he had also joined in during the visits. He said he had been involved in the scene for about two years.

Collymore, now a football commentator on BBC Radio Five Live, said: "What I have done is disgusting and I'm so ashamed, but I'm only human. I can only beg for forgiveness."

Thousands of people are thought to take part in dogging where they drive to a countryside car park or woodland. They set up meetings via websites or by texting. Some couples who take part enjoy being watched by strangers.
