Sports Cafe set for spread-out

THE Sports Cafe in London's Haymarket made underlying profits of nearly £1m last year, growth of 20% that will bankroll an expansion to other cities in the next year. The group was bought by entrepreneur Chris Akers' Coliseum vehicle 16 months ago. At the pre-tax line, the group lost £1.1m.
