Texters confess to autocorrect howlers

Hilarious texting mistakes caused by the autocorrect system on smartphones are proving

Among the oddest entries are: "Grandma just showed me her horse penis" - when what the sender really meant was "horse pendant". Another reads: "You are the first girl he ever thought about the führer with." That iPhone user meant "thought about the future with".

And one mother received a text from her son to say he had made the university "crossdressing team". He really intended to say "crosscountry" running team.

Parents are often the recipients of embarrassing texts that go unchecked before the users
hit the "send" button. Many messages are swiftly followed by the sheepish caveat: "That was the worst autocorrect of my life."
