Wartime bomb clears villages

More than 1,000 people had to be moved out of two villages today while a huge Second World War bomb was destroyed by safety experts.

The 500lb device was found near Ebberston, North Yorks, on Sunday by enthusiasts who are excavating a wartime plane.
