'What justice is a £250 fine?'

Rebecca Hudd, 11, from Bristol, was killed when a driver using his mobile phone crashed and hit her.

The motorist, David Powell, was on the phone to his girlfriend at the time of the accident.

He was fined £250 after admitting careless driving.

The girl's mother, Lynda Hudd, said: "What kind of justice is a £250 fine? The sentence would have been no different if he had hit a fence post."
