Yuan-dollar peg could be raised 30%

CHINA is considering revaluing the yuan by nearly 30% over the next five years, according to Japan's Jiji news agency, citing Beijing sources. No timetable had been decided, it added.

The US has said the yuan's peg of 8.276-8.28 to the dollar creates an unfair trade advantage.
