What: the heritage brand have created a lightweight foundation with skincare benefits, which aims to give the skin a fresh and youthful glow. The hydrating formula contains rosehip, tea and lavender extract. It comes in a rectangular bottle with the heritage brand’s iconic tartan print decorating the lid.
Application: Shake the bottle and apply the product to the centre of the face – use a primer before to make it last longer – and blend outwards with the fingers or a make-up brush. The coverage is light-to-medium for a natural finish, but you can use a good concealer over the foundation to build.
The verdict: This foundation is perfect for daily use and even for a night out – I’m impressed! After leaving the house in the morning I can still smell its fresh formula – which feels just like moisturiser. Even during a workout the product is super-lightweight and doesn’t wear off. Touch-ups are hardly ever necessary. The reflection pearls make my skin look radiant and it really does feel like I’m glowing. My favourite beauty product of the year so far – there will always be room on my dressing table for this baby.
