Vogue’s annual Fashion Night Out – aka the best night of the year for shopping whilst sipping champers - will come to London on the 6th September this year, Condé Nast announced today.

British Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, pictured here at last year’s FNO in Japan, said: "We are delighted to be supporting the fashion and retail sectors again, while highlighting the important role fashion plays in the economy of a country. Numbers of visitors in 2011 were exceptional, in particular on Bond Street where visitor numbers were up by 92 per cent on 2010. Street closures and live performances helped boost attendance and create the mood of a stylish street party."

Last year’s star-studded event saw style plates such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe attend parties on Bond Street. Amongst the events was a Seventies-themed roller disco hosted by Rupert Sanderson and a dance-off in Stella McCartney’s boutique.

Details of this year’s details will be confirmed at a later date. The countdown however, begins here.
