TODAY

Walk on air

Whether you actually use them for running or not, what’s the point of a trainer if it isn’t super-comfy? Taking this philosophy very seriously, Nike has just given us the first non-fitness shoe from its cult Flyknit range. Available now at the 1948 store, the Chukka style has been created from super-lightweight knitted fabric that moulds to your feet like a second skin. We guarantee these will be the comfiest shoes you’ve ever put on your feet. (£150, Bateman’s Row, EC2; 020 7729 7688)

TOMORROW

Hat trick

For the past few season, hats have been firmly back on the fashion agenda, so where better to get an education in the subject than at the London College of Fashion? Its latest exhibition, Head On, showcases pieces by the likes of Derek John (inset below) as well as iconic partnerships between milliners and designers such as Philip Treacy and Gareth Pugh and Stephen Jones with Donna Karan, will be on display from tonight until mid-March. (Open to the public from tomorrow. Free; Fashion Space Gallery, 20 John Prince’s Street, W1)

WEDNESDAY

PSG Pants

If your February has got off to a grey and gloomy start, don’t worry, because half-naked cutouts of David Beckham are back on our high street. Yes, DB’s second bodywear collection for H&M touches down in stores today and will be joined by another delicious advert on our TV screens. Things are definitely looking up. (Prices from £9.99, hm.com)

THURSDAY

Where’s Wally?

There’s no doubt Shoreditch is home to some of the capital’s weirdest and most wonderful inhabitants. So much so that they’ve just been immortalised in their very own exhibition. Created by east London-based art collective Le Gun, The Shoreditch Zoo opens its doors from today, featuring wall-to-wall illustrations of the area’s most interesting characters. If you can’t spot yourself in the crowd, you can’t call yourself a hipster. (80 Great Eastern Street, EC2)

FRIDAY

Ready, Steady, Go

Today the great and the good of the fashion world will be packing their bags — Louis Vuitton, of course — ready for the month-long show season, starting with New York Fashion Week. Heels at the ready — around 36 pairs should do it. (Prices start at £400, louisvuitton.com)
