Victoria Beckham answered the prayers of us Brits this weekend, as her latest designs for autumn/winter 2015 hit the New York runway.

In a run of success for the British designer, Victoria's latest show comes soon after the opening of her flagship store on Dover Street and her success at the British Fashion Awards in December, as she won the prestigious title of Best Brand to beat off tough competition from Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.

For the autumn/winter season, the former Spice Girl showcased yet another stylish injection of chic sophistication with a subtle element of sex appeal as her latest collection was unveiled in New York.

Among the collection was an array of typically intelligent layering, with oversized jumpers cascading over loosely elegant draped-skirts while cocoon coats were played simply to show off a delicate decolitage.

High-necked knits also came into play, as they added a cosy, covered-up element to the designer's favourite mid-length hemline.

While such repeated use of layering has the potential to create a clunky, over-played look, Victoria's use of flowing chiffon and breathable woollen fabrics that flowed loosely at the hem gave the collection a light and wearable sense of comfort.

And while it may have been difficult to peel your eyes from the runway, if anything were able to distract you it would be the sight of the designer's family on the front row. While Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz all looked to be taking style tips from their father, David was sitting pretty with the even prettier of the brood; little Miss Harper.

While showing off her impressively long locks, the daughter of the famous partnership tried her hand at a little photography, snapping away as her mother's designs sashayed in front of her. The tiny tot watched the show as she sat on her father's lap and next to Anna Wintour. Not a bad seat for a three-year-old.
