‘The Shoe’ is the new ‘The Dress’: which nail polish would you match to this high heel?
If this year’s debate on ‘blue and black or white and gold’ didn’t drive you crazy enough, get ready for round two, because there’s a new optical illusion dividing the internet.
This time, people can’t seem to agree on which shade of nail polish matches a purple shoe.
Dubbed ‘The Shoe’. the picture shows a high-heel with two different shades of nail polish — the left, a purple color; the right, a pink color. “Which colour does the shoe match best?” Twitter user @totallymendes tweeted, completely unaware of the impending social media uproar it would cause.

The debate is currently raging on Twitter, with many users taking to the platform to express their frustration at another colour argument dominating the platform, just months after ‘The Dress’ epidemic:
