The Crush: Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss

They're taking BFFs to a whole new level
Lotte Jeffs21 August 2014

It’s not that Crush doesn’t have loads of friends already, because we do, not even including the Twitterbots (who’ve actually proved quite good company at 2am on a Tuesday night). But what we really long for is to be BFFs with a popular girl and have the kind of ‘I’ll go if you go’, ‘You hang up; no, you hang up’, ‘What shall we wear tonight, babe?’ symbiosis of besties Taylor Swift and supermodel Karlie Kloss.

No offence to our own meaningful relationships, but theirs is the kind we really covet. These gal pals have lately been doing everything together and giving Crush a major case of FOMO. All summer they’ve been hitting the gym, dancing at the side of the stage at indie gigs, dining out and taking selfies together. We’d happily play the gooseberry to pal around with ‘Taylie’, our favourite new Forever Friends. There are rumours that Karlie recently moved in with Swifty, taking a room at her Beverly Hills pad. This doesn’t surprise us — since the leggy ladies have started morphing into each other like a couple of single white females, this is the natural next step. We just hope Karlie is OK with the amount of time Taylor has been spending with Lorde lately — they’ve even taken a cookery class together. We hate to stir, but Karlie, if it’s all over, we’ve got a spare room. Just saying.
