Today the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed a son.

Born at the Lindo Wing, St. Mary's Paddington at 11:01am BST - weighing 8lb 7oz - he is the couple's third child and younger brother to their elder son Prince George, 4, and daughter, Princess Charlotte, 2.

Whilst we have yet to catch a glimpse of the little prince, we are sure to soon, cradled in his mother's (or father's!) arms outside St. Mary's Paddington before taking his first car journey home to Kensington Palace.

What we are also sure of is that he will follow in the family tradition of being utterly adorable.

All babies are cute, let's get that straight first up, but royal babies are particularly cute. Think of Prince George's gorgeous brown eyes and Princess Charlotte's adorable smile! Think of Prince Harry's auburn hair and bright blue eyes, and Prince William's cheeky grin! Not to mention, the little cheeks of Prince Charles, and those little golden curls of The Queen...

As the gallery above shows, royal babies really are very, very sweet. That toothy smile of Prince Philip's? Almost too much...

Who is the cutest of all?

It's a tough one! Cast your vote below...
