Belgian prosecutors have today charged two men following the Islamic State bomb attacks on Brussels.

They announced a man named as Faycal C had been charged with participation in a terrorist group, terrorist killings and attempted terrorist killings.

He was one of six men detained in police raids on Thursday.

A second man, called Aboubakar A, had been charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist group.

The attacks last week on Zavantem Airport and a Metro station left 31 people dead.

Authorities said today that the airport would not reopen before Tuesday.
