David and Victoria Beckham’s mansion in the Cotswolds has reportedly been the target of a second attempted break-in in a matter of weeks.

No one from the family is believed to have been at the couple’s home in Great Tew, Oxfordshire, at the time of the incident on November 14.

Seven security guards and two attack dogs chased intruders from the property, The Sun reported.

“This now feels like a sustained attempt to target the house when they’re away,” a source close to the family told the newspaper.

It comes after reports the couple's property was scoped out last month by three people who were caught on CCTV.

Images showed three people, one seen wearing a balaclava, near the property.

At the time David, 43, and Victoria, 44, were on their way to join the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in Australia with sons Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper for Harry's Invictus Games.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We was called at around 6.15am on Wednesday following reports of a man behaving suspiciously near a property in Great Tew, Enstone Chipping Norton.

"The Neighbourhood Policing Team has been made aware."

The Beckhams' representatives have been contacted for a comment.
