A third man has been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of a teenager allegedly chased by a mob through a housing estate.

Sodiq Adebayo, 22, from West Sussex, will appear in Hendon Magistrates' Court in north London on Saturday in connection with the death of 17-year-old Marcel Addai on September 4.

Akeem Gbadamosi, 21, and Eugene Ocran, 19, whose addresses have not been released by Scotland Yard, were charged over the murder earlier this week.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Officers are attending the scene of the incident this evening, one week after the murder to continue to appeal for witnesses to the incident."

Marcel was found with stab wounds on the St John's Estate in Hoxton, in the east London borough of Hackney, after police were called to reports of an assault.

Witnesses described him being chased by up to 15 people before he died.

The London Ambulance Service attended the scene but he was pronounced dead at 11.47pm.

His family said they had been left "totally devastated" by his death.
